Just been too busy!

You see that my blog title was well chosen as it has been some time since I put anything on my blog. Life goes on and things do get done.

This is the new wall colour in the lounge and I love it. It is a home made paint made with lime and pigment and it only took two attempts to get the right colour!

Decorating - preparation seems to take forever

This time it's the lounge. Off with the orange wallpaper, ok some people have loved it but not me. I may have done once a long, long time ago but been there and done that as they say. I may put some before and after pictures of the other rooms we have done so far - this is for my sake really, to give me some encouragement. It's not just decorating, the electrics in this room are possibly original 1930's so are a priority. This means lots of plaster dust all over the place, still worth it I hope. These are the before ones, need to find more of the after ones.
