Macarons
I made these in December
from a book called "Mad about Macarons" I was given for my birthday by my daughter. Excellent book as they were a success first time. Having made them three times now I can honestly say that it is not difficult but that the procedures have to be followed precisely. However, I still find it quite nerve wracking so I reward myself by eating them (one of many special weaknesses)!

If you visit our lovely part of France I can highly recommend La Bagnoisienne run by John and Lesley who are supurb hosts and cook delicious meals.
